“Enough”

A day later and I’m still trying to absorb Barack Obama’s “The American Promise.” It seems almost tired at this point to gush over his incredible speeches, but this is different. For as cheesy as this this sounds, I feel not only inspired to live up to a greater potential, but, for the first time in my adult life, a better American.

You know, whatever that means.

I feel you. That was one of the most incredible speeches in politics, ever.

Congrats on making it onto the pages of Crooks and Liars! Don’t know if you saw, but you’re prominently featured.

You’re up at my place, too. And this is part of what it means to be a better American: getting involved in the political process and ensure that the man who can pull this country out of a freefall gets elected. If that means satirizing and mocking the cynical cons in the other camp, well. I can think of worse things to do on a Saturday afternoon. ;-)

Thanks a lot. It’s made me think about getting back into volunteer work. Since I’m freelance and work from home, I’ve definitely got the spare time to do it ;)

Oh my god, Jared! That video, hah! I saw Dana’s comment and I was like, “Jared was on Crooks and Liars?” and then clicked ‘play’ on the YouTube link with great trepidation. Glad I did!
